Questions

Relative to the price point of $3.99 in a mass market, what type of information product holds the most value in your opinion?

Training video, detailed guide/e-book, customized advice/tip, actionable list/steps, cheat-sheet/roadmap, template/planner, micro-service/task, premium membership, software/tool or other?

Value based pricing is neither about being cheap, nor about the kind of product/service. The value potential of $3.99 will depend upon the quality of output that the product/service provides, irrespective of the categories mentioned by you. Ideal way should be to benchmark your product/service content to decide the price point.

This is not a price point at which I would have any expectation of value.

You may share ONE good point/tip here, and the purpose exclusively would be to find out who is a member of your target market and has a credit card and the authority to use it.

To be clear: this is a listbuilding-level tactic and not a moneymaking one.
