What are the best practices in finding a contractor to build high PR backlinks?

I have hire a few backlink experts to create backlinks for some domains I own. But when I check these new backlinks using "SEO SpyGlass" (software) I'm lucky if I can found 1% of the backlinks created that got actually indexed. Can someone recommend a platform for where I can find someone to build high PR backlinks please?

Hi! Great question! My name is Humberto Valle, I'm a global competitive strategist and run a hybrid agency out Texas. A lot of our own clients come to us with existing notions about how SEO didn't do anything for them, etc. only to find out that they were previously sold link farming and junk that is obviously all just fluff and ego boosting but creates no real investment.
Good PR backlinks are a management level effort, we for example develop an overall strategy for the use of the links, where these links will point to, what will be offered on these landings, etc. we then craft content and write it and find channels that can get us to prospects' eyes.
If you try to hire someone off craigslist for example, you will have a difficult time trying to get them to provide you with samples of previous work, if you go to a typical marketing agency they will charge you thousands of dollars for this services. Good PR links are hard to build and require getting other people involved such as bloggers, influencers, high traffic online mags, etc. If you are interested, feel free to contact me and let's see if we can be of help - for us our SEO and back linking is dependent on the service or product.

You typically get what you pay for when it comes to backlinks. Especially if you search for "high PR backlinks." You may have had a bad experience if you've hired vendors based on that term. Google discontinued its "PageRank" ranking tool several years ago, so that concept no longer has any meaning. Today, Google looks for contextual links from high authority sites that are relevant to your "money site." If a vendor is still advertising "high PR links," they probably aren't any good at SEO in the first place.

I am not recommending this particular vendor, because I haven't worked with them before, but if I were to buy links, I would look for the level of detail you see in this person's service description: http://www.konker.io/services/2906?affid=245f87 They have an understanding of the current state of SEO.

If you have any questions about your SEO strategy, I would be happy to give you an SEO reality check. Just give me a call.

This is too funny, I just lent my outreach system and one of my guys to a family member who is trying to build lists, gain backlinks and get mentioned/interviewed by thought leaders.

We've been using a system for a while that requires about a day a week of someone's time, and a few good white papers (or other valuable piece of content to be created in the process.)

If you'd like to schedule a call, I can send you a link to the google doc that lays out the entire process/strategy including the tools to do things like scrape URLs for emails (free tools).

Here is your best practice, step by step:

First of all, let's understand what ''high PR backlinks'' mean?

Getting high PR backlinks is almost equivalent of getting high PR relationships with high PR people.

At the end of the day humans (even those who work in Washington Post, New York Times, Mashable ---- top websites to get backlinks from, they are humans too).

So in order to get what you have the following 3 options

1. Hire somebody who have already built these relationships. They have a proof and there is a context /fit between their relationships and your business.

2. Hire somebody / an agency who is going to build the relationships together with you. Make some template emails and email sequences with the. Build your desired website pages together with your agency and let them do the work, share reports with you, forward the emails and responses they are getting and hopefully get it done after some hard work

3. Build the relationships yourself. Since your time is valuable you need to manage some staff

So I think the second option is the best option for you! Instead of finding a platform do the following steps:

1. Find a marketer / agency who understands your industry and has at least some 5-6 years experience working

2. Let them do some research and find a list of influencers and websites that would be attainable to get backlinks from

3. Filter the list together and give your final approval

4. Let the agency / freelancer make some email outreach templates and offerings? What do high PR websites get when they are linking to you? Do their visitors get a valuable recommendation when they refer to you?

5.Let them start the networking and analyse analyse analyse. Analyse what works, who are more open to work with you and adjust your upcoming lists and email templates accordingly

The simple answer to this question is to find a boutique agency.

1) Avoid Big box SEO firms.
2) Do not source offshore.
3) Avoid companies who offer everything under one roof. Are they really experts?

I am a full time marketing consultant with my own agencies. 99.9% of all people who give advice or think they know about ranking (your reason for backlinks) have absolutely no idea. They might know theory, from text books or learning online, but they do not understand how to apply this information and much of it is erroneous.

There are very few places where you can get backlinks that will do you any good over the long term because Google is on the case and will knock links out as fast as you can build.

There are some black hat agencies who can boost ratings fast - but they never hold.
