Patreon is like a Kickstarter that never ends. Patreons pay you $1-5 normally to support your art, music or creations. How would you use social media tools and ads to make that happen?
I would put content out for free on YouTube, share via social media channels. In your Youtube channel, promote people to visit your website.
On the website, collect email addresses to begin building an audience. Use the email address to send behind the scenes exclusive content and in each email message you send request a donation via Patreon.

I'd use social media for the purpose of building an audience who loves you. Your promotion should never reference Patreon IMO. Focus on getting your content to the people who will love it, and the rest will work itself out.
Assuming the Patreon button and a subtle callout is visible on your site/YouTube videos, that is. :)

You need a marketing mix that is further divided into:
1. Digital Marketing Mix
2. Promotion Mix
3. Viral Marketing Mix
We will run A/B tests for the DMM along with other KPIs to manage the efficiency and effectiveness of the campaign. Similarly we will measure the Virality (K) in VMM and Effect (e) in PM.
Fee free to consult me. I can be your regular consultant for enhancing the business. Go ahead and setup a call.
